A Farewell!

Everyone has 24 hours in a day. It is important, how we utilize our time. We should have enough time for every activity whether it is for socializing, reading, cooking, eating, sleeping, working, travelling, time for your own self and more important time for your near and dear ones.

In this busy modern world, we have been ignoring and forgetting lot of important things. One of important thing is meeting / spending time with your near and dear ones. Those were the days when we used write letters, catch up with friends and relatives very often, play loads of outdoor games, watch movies with family at home, have dinner together and many more things TOGETHER.
Last week I went to the 'Baarwi' (as we call the 12th day after the death a Hindu) of a relative  wherein other relatives and friends are called to pay tribute and have 'prasad' . I saw lots of relatives and friends gathered known and unknown. I wondered whether these folks really had spent a quality time with the person who passed away. Anyway people gathered to grieve and console the family.
Some customs and traditions are so confusing and out of logic. Still we are social animal and live in a society. Always spend time with your near and dear ones. You may not know whether you will get to meet the person again. Never miss an opportunity to be with your family.
Kabhi Alvida Nah Kehna!
